New Moon Department Head to be Keynote Speaker

Norma Hill-Patton, the make-up department head on the upcoming The Twilight Saga: New Moon, will be a keynote speaker at the 2009 IMATS Toronto. She designed the overall look and the beauty-vampire make-up on actor Robert Pattinson and actress Dakota Fanning for the second movie in the Twilight series and will discuss her experiences.

The London-born artist trained in make-up and hair design at the BBC and worked on TV shows, commercials, photo shoots, rock videos and feature films, including Out of Africa. She now lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she has worked on features including the second and third X-Men films, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Catwoman. She has been a personal make-up artist to actress Halle Berry and has worked with celebrities including Meryl Streep, Hilary Swank, Al Pacino, Paul McCartney, Ben Kingsley, Kristen Scott-Thomas, Reese Witherspoon and Hugh Jackman.
