Join Dominick Briguglio and Stila Cosmetics for an exclusive two-part event: a master class and a master challenge—Live on the Edge of Fashion and Beauty With Stila Cosmetics.
Part one will include a demo of a hot fall look from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Participants will then break off on their own to recreate that look on their models, with coaching from Stila experts.
Part two is the master challenge, in which Stila artists will act as fashion designers, presenting participants with an inspiration storyboard and clues to the make-up looks they want to accompany their designs. Stila artists will have the exact pictures of the looks, but won’t share them with participants, who will try to interpret the clues and create the looks on their models. The company’s make-up experts will judge the results.
The first participant to exactly recreate one of the looks will win first place and travel to New York in September to work with the Stila team at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (Stila will provide hotel and airfare). Second- and third-place prizes will also be awarded, and all participants will receive a Stila goody bag and career-boosting instruction.
This master class will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 22 at the Pasadena Convention Center, prior to IMATS Los Angeles 2012. Students must provide their own tools and models (Stila will provide cosmetics for use; participants will remove their models’ first make-up look before moving on to the second). Class size is limited to 20 students maximum. Click here to purchase tickets.
