Perez Hilton to Emcee NYX FACE Awards at IMATS L.A.

Have you heard the latest? Famed gossip columnist Perez Hilton will emcee the NYX FACE Awards, held 1 p.m. Sunday, June 24 on the IMATS Los Angeles Main Stage.

Sponsored by NYX Cosmetics and Make-Up Artist magazine’s beauty website, Makeup411.com, the NYX Fine Artistry of Cosmetic Elites (FACE) Awards launched March 8 at nyxfaceawards.com. Over the course of the competition, hundreds of hopeful vloggers faced three make-up challenges by NYX and were judged on creativity, technique and presentation. The top six finalists will face their final challenge live at IMATS Los Angeles, creating a look on a model before a panel of judges, including NYX company founder Toni Ko, celebrity make-up artist Scott Barnes, Beautylish CEO and co-founder Nils Johnson, Macadamia Natural Oil Director of Education Michael Cain and Tim Lusher, general manager of Westin Hotels.

The six finalists, listed by their vlogger names, are Charismastar, iwanted2c1video, Sabsbeauty, Beautyliciousinsider, Promuanetwork and Goldiesterling.

With more than 12 million unique readers per month, Hilton is one of the most famous names in entertainment. Having worked as an actor, publicist and magazine editor, he launched the entertainment gossip blog PerezHilton.com in 2004. Hilton has since expanded his online empire to include five platforms: PerezHilton.com, PerezTV.com, CocoPerez.com, FitPerez.com and TeddyHilton.com, plus a YouTube channel.

The winner of the contest will take home $25,000, as well as gain access to influential beauty insiders, consult with top industry experts and receive national publicity. Each of the five runners up will receive a year's worth of NYX Cosmetics.
