Winter Warm-Up
Winter Warm-Up by Chris Koseluk
IMATS Los Angeles offered a sunny start to 2013, with its new January dates; a sold-out event (for the second straight year); nearly 10,000 visitors; 118 exhibitors; and keynote speakers Joanna Schlip, Tami Lane and Howard Berger. Another highlight included the Make-Up Artist Pro-Card event featuring the documentary short Dream Out Loud, which pays tribute to top make-up effects artist Kazuhiro Tsuji, who unveiled at IMATS a larger-than-life sculpture of Abraham Lincoln.

For more on the show, pick up the print or digital edition—available by subscription here. To order a single-issue digital edition (coming soon), go to Google Play or iTunes.

Our coverage features behind-the-scenes photos you'll only see in Make-Up Artist magazine, including a look at the make-ups of the Wicked Witch of the West and the Wicked Witch of the East.
