IMATS London moved to a new home this year (Olympia National Hall) and a new date (June 21-23). The move and venue proved to be a huge success, with the most IMATS London attendees to date. Highlights included: pre-show master classes from Einat Dan, Siân Richards and Kazuhiro Tsuji; keynote speakers Kabuki, Neill Gorton, Mark Coulier and Joel Harlow; the Make-up Museum's tribute to the late Stuart Freeborn; and the always exciting Battle of the Brushes.

\'Wow\' Factor
'Wow' Factor by Shelley Nicholl
IMATS Vancouver 2013 buzzed with creativity, collaboration and education July 27-28 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. A record-number of attendees, a large number being professional artists, scoped out the latest products and saw artistry in action at the various booths and onstage at the Battle of the Brushes, where students showcased their work.

Keynote speakers this year were Grimm special make-up effects supervisor Barney Burman and make-up department head JoJo Myers Proud, award-winning artist Siân Richards and beauty artist Taylor Chang-Babaian.

Ghoulish Glamour
