TAMU Artist Agency, Nakeah Cosmetics and hosts LisaRaye (VH1ís Single Ladies) and celebrity photographer Derek Blanks will team up Thursday, April 25 for the charity fundraiser Kiss ASPS Goodbye. The event will raise money for Jem's Life Foundation, which promotes awareness of a rare form of cancer called Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma.

Jem's Life was founded by celebrity make-up artist Jemisha McFerrin before she died April 1, 2012 from ASPS. Her older sister, TAMU Artist Agency founder Tamu Davis, created the red-carpet event in the hopes of helping those affected by the rare disease.

"In wake of her passing I am striving to keep the foundation alive and her mission to help others in her situation. My goal is to assist others affected by ASPS as well as their families, as I know firsthand the hardships that can occur while fighting one of the biggest fights of their lives," said Davis via email.

Red-carpet arrivals for the event begin 6 p.m. at Nakeah Cosmetics and Beauty Lounge at 7471 Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles. The event runs from 7 to 11 p.m.; guests can enjoy beauty treatments by Nakeah Cosmetics, exclusive gift bags, a photo booth and the launch of the limited edition Kiss ASPS Goodbye LipGloss. Tickets are $25 and may be ordered at jemslifeforasps.eventbrite.com. All proceeds go to the Jem's Life Foundation.
