2012 Winners Announced for Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards

On June 17, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners of the 39th Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards, in a sold-out event at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.

In the Outstanding Achievement in Makeup for a Drama Series category, head make-up artist Gail J. Hopkins and artists Nina Wells, Joleen Rizzo, Glen Alen Gutierrez and Deidre Decker won for their work on Days of Our Lives.

In the Outstanding Achievement in Makeup category, artists from two shows won. Jessica Honor Carleton and Scott Gryder won for their work on Green Screen Adventures, and Mark Payne and Alx Galasinao won for their work on Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee.

The Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award nominations will be announced July 19; winners will be announced Sept. 15. Return to makeupmag.com for updated information.
