Make-Up Artist magazine is about the only "real" source of information and learning for all passionate make-up artists. Especially me! It is a must for beginners, pros and even non make-up artists. You have created a new forum for make-up artists to share tips, techniques and secrets. By doing this we can all become better make-up artists. Congratulations are in order to Michael Key for making this happen and linking all make-up people together.

Make-Up Artist magazine is years overdue. You have grown this publication from a newsletter to a very complete first class magazine. A magazine that serves the make-up artistry field with education and information. Thank you. Thank your dedicated staff as well for a job well done.

The writing is entertaining and there's much practical information, but I love the way the magazine is jammed with clear color photos of the best character and "effect make-ups" in current and vintage motion pictures. I like the articles about our under-appreciated make-up colleagues. I really love being able to study photos of good work. It's stimulating to the working professional. I'll be collecting issues of Make-Up Artist magazine as long as you publish them. I wish you continuing success.

From its humble beginnings as a craft newsletter for the union, Michael Key has created a vital link for all film and television make-up artists. Born out of dedication to the craft and a spirit of communication, we finally have a forum in which to share ideas, concerns, ideologies and our stories! If sharing leads to growth, Make-Up Artist magazine may have given us the biggest potential to grow as a craft, and as individual artists, that we have seen in years.
