Tracy Kennedy, a celebrity make-up artist and vocal performer, died of cancer on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015.
Kennedy was a make-up artist who worked with famous singers Etta James, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Fantasia and many more. He was known for his larger-than-life personality and described as “expressive” and “flamboyant” by close friends. He had a passion for uplifting others and believed in the power of make-up to inspire people to be their best selves.
Kennedy was also a singer and entertainer, and appeared on the TV series Raising Whitley on the Oprah Winfrey Network. He hosted a YouTube channel called Apollo Night LA Radio, which features unsigned and indie music artists from around the world.
Memorial and burial information have yet to be released.
