If you like make-up inspiration and sightseeing opportunities while you’re keeping track of time, the 2015 Kryolan calendar might be a good fit for you.

Dubbed “A Suitcase Full of Make-up Dreams,” this large-format wall calendar features photos of models posed in 12 international locales spanning Canada to South Africa, often against well-known landmarks, including San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge and Guatemala’s Tikal. Make-up artist James Paul Merchant and hairstylist Joey Bevan incorporated elements of cultural history and design in creating looks for each location; Chris Davis shot the images, with Bevan as stylist and Nadine Langer and Paulina Deptula as project managers.

“A truly overwhelming experience,” said Merchant in describing the team’s work. “This project has encouraged me to challenge my style, my technique and myself and grow as an artist. There is so much beauty in this world, I hope I’ve managed to do a small amount of it justice through my work.”

The calendar retails for $25 through the company’s site: us.kryolan.com/product/kryolan-calendar-2015
