On Jan. 6, 2015, beauty brand Lancôme announced Lisa Eldridge as its new Makeup Creative Director.

“Lisa and Lancôme immediately appeared evident for us,” explained Françoise Lehmann, General Manager of Lancôme International, via a press release. “We share the same values, the same desire to provide to women the keys to a more intimate and deep sense of beauty, rather than one that is solely on the surface.”

Eldridge has more than 20 years of beauty and fashion make-up experience. She has worked with top photographers Sølve Sundsbø, Patrick Demarchelier, Thomas Schenk and more; her work has appeared in international versions of Vogue, and in Allure, Glamour and Elle. Celebrity clients include Kate Winslet, Katy Perry, Keira Knightley, Emma Watson, Eva Green, Cameron Diaz, Amanda Seyfried, Kate Moss, Helena Christensen, Cate Blanchett, Demi Moore and Salma Hayek.

Eldridge has shared her approach to make-up through video tutorials on her popular website, Eldridge previously collaborated with Shiseido on a make-up line, with cosmetics brand No.7 as Creative Director, and with Chanel creating exclusive website content.

Through the press release, Eldridge said, “It’s an honor to be named Makeup Creative Director at Lancôme, a brand with an incredible heritage, impeccable style and genuine integrity. We are designing a brand new Paris Makeup Atelier, and I can’t wait to start creating new collections, shades and products, as well as posting the amazing online content we have in mind.
