Key Publishing Group, the parent company of Make-Up Artist magazine, has launched the Make-Up Artist Pro Card, which provides working make-up artists with various benefits.

At all the company’s International Make-Up Artist Trade Shows, Make-Up Artist Pro Card holders will be given preferred classroom seating. And in select IMATS locations, card holders will have access to a pro-only lounge, where they can enjoy refreshments and network with their colleagues in a relaxed and quiet atmosphere.Make-Up Artist Pro Card holders are also invited to pro-only events at IMATS. The next such event will be held 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, June 24 at IMATS Los Angeles. There will be refreshments, an exhibit floor open to pros only and a presentation by Make Up For Ever founder Dany Sanz. The event is sponsored by Make Up For Ever and Royal & Langnickel Brush.

Also included is a reception for “The Greatest Make-up Artists of Our Time: A Selection of Portraits by Deverill Weekes.” This photo gallery features portraits that Weekes, Make-Up Artist magazine’s staff photographer, shot between 1994 and 2011. The reception is sponsored by M.A.C. Pro and hosted by IMATS Show Director Michael Key and actress Juliet Landau.
