Journeyman make-up artist Robin LaVigne died on Oct. 6, 2015, Local 706 has announced. She was the daughter of make-up artist Emile LaVigne and one of the pioneering female make-up artists of the union. She became a journeyman in 1977 after an apprenticeship in the Producers Association training program, and went on to work on television favorites such as Seinfeld, Dynasty, Ellen and The Tracey Ullman Show. She won an Emmy, along with Carol Schwartz and Tom and Bari Burman, for her work on The Tracy Ullman Show. She worked in many genres, and continued her artistic endeavors—painting and photography—after retiring in 2002 due to health problems.
She is survived by her son Andrew Erie, who notified Local 706 that services had been private.
